NB: What is your focus area?

Amit: Our focus remains on the residential market. Working with developers who are willing to cut prices by 20-30% upfront helps us create a niche amongst the small and mid-segment developers who have debt free books.

Amit: We currently have offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Dubai and are planning to launch operations in Hong Kong and Singapore by the end of this year.

amit wadhwaniNB: Chembur in Mumbai has been creating a lot of buzz as a destination?

Amit: Chembur has undergone a massive transformation over a couple of several years. It is typically characterized

by upcoming under construction and ready commercial projects from reputed builders and sick industrial units being replaced by luxury residential projects, making it a preferred destination for investors and buyers.

The number of high-rises have tripled owing to the development of infrastructure, such as the Santacruz-Chembur Link Road (SCLR), the Eastern Freeway, the monorail from Chembur to Wadala and the proposed elevated road from Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) to Sion. The proposed 1.6-km flyover, from BKC to Chunabhatti, will substantially reduce the time by almost 20 minutes while commuting between Chembur and BKC.

NB: What is your take on Affordable Housing?

Amit: In sync with the government agenda of ‘Housing For All by 2022’, the company specifically aims to reach out to consumers who can afford homes of less than INR 1cr and make their aspirations come true.
