S K Moitra exhorting everyone to contribute towards Oil & Gas Conservation

Emphasizing on the need for judicious consumption of energy, ED-Asset Manager-Bassein & Satellite Asset & Director (Onshore) designate, S K Moitra, in his address, shared the contradiction of Oil men asking to conserve oil. He asked the gathering to note that the effort required to increase the production by a hundred barrels from a well is such a difficult task and one should bear it in mind whilst consuming petroleum products.

Under the present scenario, in line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s clarion call for 10% hydrocarbon import reduction by 2022, it is not only important to enhance exploration and exploitation of oil & gas, it is equally important to conserve and use these precious commodities judiciously and efficiently. “Each one of us ought to take the lead and make individual efforts towards energy conservation”, he remarked.
