Sensex ends 250 points;Nifty above 10,700 levels

 

Indian equity indices ended on a higher note crossing 34,000 mark, while Nifty was above 10,700 levels.

Sensex was higher by 251 points at 34,843 , While Nifty was up by 60 points at 10,741.

The S&P BSE Mid-cap and small cap index was up by 1%.

Shares of HDFC ended 6% higher at Rs. 1869 after the board approved fundraising of up to INR 13,000 crore.

The IIP for the month of November 2017 stands at 125.6, which is 8.4% higher as compared to the level in the month of November 2016. The cumulative growth for the period April-November 2017 over the corresponding period of the previous year stands at 3.2 percent.
