Shadowfax, India’s market leader in the Online-2-Offline (O2O) logistics segment is looking to grow its business into China market.

Shadowfax, India’s leading logistics player is set to mark its footprints into the China market. The company is primarily looking to provide services to e-com players shipping their products to India as well as Chinese logistics players looking for an Indian partner. The company aims at setting up its China office by the end of the year 2019.

Opportunities in logistics sector between the two countries are a plenty; the two-way trade between China and India has now crossed around $85 billion. With its expansion in China, Shadowfax will be able to give a wide range of channel to Indian sellers to procure Chinese goods and sell it on their platform back here in India. Various Chinese platforms have also started their businesses in India and have started selling products aggressively online. Business has been growing exponentially due to lower prices and easy availability across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. These e-com players have been successfully selling their products in diverse categories across the length and breadth of India.

Foreseeing this growth potential, and also the immense potential of express delivery, Shadowfax will specially focus on China-to-India logistics segment of the business. Shadowfax provides best in class reverse logistics services with same day pickup guarantee across 3000+ pin codes in India as well as assured liability of frauds which significantly reduces error rates. It has also developed proprietary processes and technology in forward logistics to assure express 7-day delivery and reduced return rates.

Shadowfax has multiplied its capabilities three-times,since its inception and has projected a 150% year-on-year growth for the next five years. The company is using its funds for a concentrated 360-degree scale-up. By 2021 it aims to connect 4 lakh new businesses and Delivery Partners to its platform, up from the current 40,000 connections. Shadowfax services will be available across 5000 pin codes across India from March this year.
