Bodhtree Consulting Limited, a leading IT consulting and software service provider, bags orders worth of Rs. 50 crore today. The company has received Rs.8.39 crore order from Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education (ICFRE) for continuity of Data Centre at Dehradun for a period of five years.
The second order is received from Magadh University which is worth of Rs. 43 crore. The scope of the work under this project includes providing “Digital University Platform” under managed services model. Magadh University is the oldest university of Bihar with 215 plus colleges and new student base of 5 lakhs every year and offering more than 100 courses for UG, PG, BEd, etc.
The Digital University Platform is going to digitize key areas of the university catering to their student base and streamline admissions, examinations, certificate generation and various workflows of the university. It will also provide a digital help desk for the students. The project also requires implementing a biometric based attendance system for the staff of the university and its constituent colleges.
The project uses Mongo DB and various state of the art technologies to be able to cater to high volumes of transactions and data. The application and data will be hosted in a brand new state of the art tier 4 Primary Data Centre Facility of PI Data Centres at Amravati, Andhra Pradesh and the Disaster Recovery Centre will be at Kochi, Kerala.
The University will pay Bodhtree on a per student basis and the total revenue for 3 years of contract is expected to cross Rs. 43 crore. The project will get implemented in 6 months.
In another development, Bodhtree has entered into a definite agreement with Gapbridge Soft a Bangalore based global SAP Solutions Company to address its customer base on their SAP deployment and support requirements. By entering into this agreement, both the companies bring complementary strengths to cover customer requirements in enterprise landscape, besides enhancing geographical reach for both companies.
Commenting on the developments, Mr. L. N. Rama Krishna, MD, Bodhtree said, “We are very happy to win three large projects of Rs. 200 crore in the last 18 months, two of them are from Medical Council of India (MCI) and the rest of from the above outlined universities. This only shows that we have emerged as good player in this large projects segment from quasi Government organisations and PSUs.”
He further added that, “Based our experience in implementing large projects for MCI, we are winning more projects from large universities on the similar lines, this would also lead to getting more large projects from other Universities, which would make us large player in this market. Our digital segment of the business is growing very well and we see good sizable business to come from this segment”
