Danesh Mistry to head Tata Assest Managements PMS division

Danesh Mistry, who until now, managed multiple equity mutual fund schemes is mandated to build the PMS vertical.

Tata Asset Management has recently strengthened its Portfolio Management Services (PMS) that will focus on a niche segment of clients through tailor-made portfolios under the PMS division.

Danesh Mistry, who until now, managed multiple equity mutual fund schemes is mandated to build the PMS vertical. He is now designated as Head – Portfolio Management Services.

Danesh Mistry has over 16 years of experience spread across; fund management, equity research, mortgages and investment banking including private equity and capital markets. Danesh has been with Tata Asset Management Ltd. for more than 9 years in the investment team starting as a Research Analyst and now Fund Manager.

He has also worked on developing the alternate investment platform as Principal Alternate Investment Fund.

Prior to joining Tata Asset Management Ltd., Danesh was with HDFC Limited and ENAM Securities where he was in roles across credit appraisal, project evaluation, deal sourcing and structuring, equity valuation, capital market transactions and relationship management. Danesh is a graduate in commerce from HR College, Mumbai University and holds a post graduate diploma in business administration from Indian Education Society Core Competence & Development Centre.
