India’s leading value-focused e-commerce marketplace, has partnered with PhonePe India’s fastest growing payments platform, allowing buyers to pay for their purchases on the Snapdeal platform using their PhonePe account. As an introductory offer, users will also receive a 15% cashback upto Rs 100 on their first payment made via PhonePe on Snapdeal.

Upcoming metros as well as Tier II and Tier III cities are some of the biggest markets for Snapdeal and these markets are also seeing significant acceptance for digital payments solutions. PhonePe is a leader in the category, offering consumers diverse payment options including UPI, credit & debit cards PhonePe wallet and third party wallets, which will ensure Snapdeal consumers have a hassle free shopping and payment experience.

PhonePe is now part of the widest array of payments available at Snapdeal, which includes FreeCharge wallet, MobiKwik, credit and debit cards, EMI, netbanking, e-gift cards etc. Snapdeal has the largest line up of payment offers from 13 international, national and regional banks, and 3 digital wallets to provide great deals to users who opted for digital payments for their purchases on the platform.

The large number of payment options is designed to ensure maximum additional savings opportunity for Snapdeal users. Most of Snapdeal’s payment partners run regular promotions in terms of instant discounts and cashbacks. Earlier this year, Snapdeal announced that India’s leading banks, digital payment companies and global payments technology companies have lined up Rs 100 crores worth discounts on Snapdeal.
