HDFC Bank is the only brand to be featured in the BrandZTM Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands ranking released recently by WPP group company Millward Brown.
The prestigious list is toppedby Google. Other brands in the top 10 are Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Tencent, Facebook, Visa, McDonalds, Alibaba, and AT&T in that order.
This is the fourth time in a row that HDFC Bank has been featured in the Top 100 global brands list. In the latest ranking, the Bank’s brandvalue has increased to $20.87 billion from $17.13 billion as of lastyear. The increase in brand value has pushed the Bank’s rank 3notches up to 60 from its last year’s rank of 63.
According to BrandZ, its research covers two million consumers and more than 10,000 different brands in over 30 countries.
