Hero MotoCorp to increase prices of motorcycle models

After Tata Motors and Hyundai, Hero MotoCorp, will be increasing the ex-showroom prices of its motorcycles, starting January 1, 2018, to partially off-set the rising input costs.

The price hike translates to about Rs. 400 per model. The exact quantum of the increase will vary, basis the model and the specific market.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd also announced a price increase up to 2%. The revised prices to be implemented from beginning of next year.

Earlier Tata Motors said that it would be increasing prices ofits entire passenger vehicles range by up to INR. 25,000, starting January 2018. This increase in price is due to rising input costs.
